The Mind Of "Letting It Go"

You Have To Move On From There!

Luke 4:30; Luke 9:5

I have said this often; therefore, God is repeating a thing because we have yet to grasps hold of His Word He is saying through that!

Certificates require them in order to maintain your qualifications - You must be tested in order to maintain the certificate that gives you permission to perform the function you have studied to acquire!

I know you have graduated from the school - have your diploma - degree - whatever it may be, but life will bring tests towards you - which may bring into question your certifications!

Jesus - after being baptized, and endowed with The Holy Spirit from above, was led into the wilderness by The Spirit to be tested!

You have planned your next after the graduation, but you enter a wilderness circumstance and it seems as if you have received the Power To continue on, but hindrances are on every corner!

I have The Power, but here comes ole slew-foot!

I cannot find a job in my field

I cannot get people to commit to serving The Lord through the Church I know God started!

I got the promotion on my job, now everyone is who I thought was for me - is not talking behind my back!

Every time I get ahead, it seems like an emergency arise and now I am right back behind the 8 ball again!

God why me! Why me!

I believe in this text that Jesus Christ was not just dealing with an external enemy, but more so a war broke out in His Mind!

Think about it:

He has been fasting for 40 days and 40 nights - The Bible does not mentioned this, but how many times in His Mind He thought about coming out of the temptation?

How many times have you thought of just coming out of it and just giving up?

But notice now, The Bible says that after the temptation - He was hungry!

Have you ever went into a thing ready for battle, prepared for war - standing 10 toes down, made it through and right after you have successfully made it, that is when it seems like all hell breaks loose!

Now your mind is running in circles and you are trying to figure out how to get off this cycle?

You try this - that doesn’t work - you try that - that doesn’t work - What do I need to do, Lord God?

In desperate circumstances your thoughts may begin to speak contrary to what The Spirit of The Lord has said!

But The Mind of Christ has shown us how to overcome and Let It Go! You don’t respond with your mind, you Let The Mind of Christ respond for you!

Luke 4:14 “14 Then Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out through all the surrounding region.” So Jesus comes out of the wilderness and begins His Ministry - going into the streets to proclaim The Kingdom of God is near!

Matthew accounts that when the devil left Him - Angels came and ministered to Him - Luke says that the devil departed until an opportune time!

The thoughts may come back around again, but you have the knowledge of The Word of God on how to handle that - Let it go!

I won’t respond like I used to because I am new - I won’t conform to the circumstance because I have a renewed mind and The Power to move on from there! The Word of God rests upon me - in my hands I have more than enough!

Why? Because My God will supply all of my needs - Isaiah 41:13 “13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’” Because my hand is in His Hand - I will not fear - I am not going to worry!

And He comes to His Own people, and goes into the synagogue on The Sabbath as they held onto their traditions and He admonished them by standing up in The Church and reading!

But He said something that hardened their hearts - After He finished reading - He said that Today! The scripture is fulfilled - Which meant that they had to let go of what they were accustomed too and grab on to where He is going to take them to!

But they did not receive it and tried to kill Him - Can I help you - People won’t receive you because they are viewing you from where you were and not who God has called you to be - If they do not receive you, move on from there!

You cannot force you - on anyone - especially those who do not see you as God has called you to the earth. You must get to a place to where you are no longer okay with being tolerated and move on to a place to where you are appreciated!

Luke 4:22 “22 So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?””

Sometimes it is who you believe will receive you, are the ones that will just tolerate you - ultimately rejecting who you are!

Familiarity is an enemy of progress and service

When you are no longer perceived correctly, even though your desire is to do The Will of God, you have to move your feelings out of the way so you can “Let It Go!”

Love’em and move on!

Let It Go - Let what go? Ephesians 4:31 “31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.”

Because you have Let not your heart be troubled - and have allowed The Peace of God to reign in your heart - you have the power to let it go and move on from there!

Isaiah 41:10 “10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

Luke 9:5 “5 And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.””

Luke 4:30 “30 Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way.”

How does this show us how we ought to Let It Go? Because after Jesus was baptized - The Power rested upon Him, embodied Him and afterwards He was led into the wilderness!

He was able to overcome by The Power - The Same Power that resides in you!

You are saying “I Can’t” when in reality you are saying “I Don’t” The Truth is that you can you just don’t let it go!

Jesus was not received in His Own Country - He did not talk about how they did Him, nor how they did not receive Him - He just moved on from there and gave the disciples the same power by telling them to shake the dust off. . .
